When reading the links about life expectancy etc, always remember that the blood test alone is not enough to confirm diagnosis. Accurate diagnosis needs to be made through a combination of things - biopsy or examining fluid often help. I have heard of many vets who simply say that nothing can be done - yes this is a incurable disease, but never have a cat put to sleep based on the results of the FIP blood test alone.
